We are delighted to finally publish our draft programme for Fields of Conflict XIII this September
Taking place at the University of Glasgow from 4–6 September 2026, the conference will feature three days of papers, panels, workshops and tours covering conflict archaeology across a broad range of periods, places and specialist approaches.
The programme includes sessions on battlefield and siege archaeology, modern conflict, contested memories, osteology, conflict heritage, archaeological methods and many other areas, alongside a keynote address and evening receptions.
Please note the programme includes an updated schedule as well as breakdowns for each individual session.
We are especially grateful to the speakers who have agreed to present on Sunday afternoon. Their flexibility has helped us accommodate the breadth of contributions being offered this year.
The programme remains a draft and may be subject to minor changes. Conference registration information and the booking link are expected to be published by the end of this week.
